Wrought Iron Fencing Guide
BURGE FENCE OFFERS:
Posts
Burge offers 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2", 3",
4", and 6" square steel posts, available in the thicknesses
of 1/8", 3/16" or 1/4". 1" and 1-1/4" are
available on railings. 1-1/2", 2", 3", 4", and
6" are available on fencing. Two tops are available for posts
– ball top and crown top.
Pickets
Burge offers 3/8" square solid pickets, 1/2" square solid
pickets, 5/8" square solid pickets, 3/4" square hollow pickets,
and 1" hollow pickets available with spaces between pickets from
2" to 4-1/2". Many tops and designs are available. Pickets also
may be twisted and turned on the diamond at no extra charge.
Channels
Burge offers 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", or 2" wide 1/8"
thick channels. Fences and rails have a standard top and bottom channel.
A third or fourth channel is available at extra charge. Circles and
"C" scrolls between channels are available at extra charge.
Curved, scalloped or pie shaped sections are available at extra charge.
Paint Protection
Burge uses an industrial grade red oxide primer and a top coat of
gloss black oil enamel paint. The standard color is black, other colors
are available at additional cost. Epoxy primer/polyurethane enamel
paint system is also available at additional cost.
Gates
Gates are custom built to match each particular style of fence. Other
custom designs are also available at additional cost. Burge installs
heavy duty hinges and lockable latches. Burge offers locking dead
bolts, locking brass knobs and automatic gate closures at additional
cost.
